Horseshoe Lake Charles - A Caesars Rewards Destination

We had a great little break from the road. The staff was very helpful. The Brew Brothers sports Bar was fantastic. We got half price appetizers and drinks, then dinner. The burgers were huge and great. Everything was excellent.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Horseshoe Casino Hotel for Valentine’s weekend and overall it was a great trip. The hotel is very clean and looks super luxury. We stayed on the 8th floor with a view of the pool—you could also see the parking lot and the bridges. The room itself was really nice. We ate at the breakfast spot (I can’t remember the name), but the pancakes are HUGE. You get two, and they’re honestly the biggest pancakes I’ve ever seen. The food was good, and customer service throughout the hotel was great. We also hit the casino and… we both lost each night lol. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because we had an issue the first night and when I called the front desk, I got no response. The next morning I went down to the front desk and the manager, Johnique, helped me. If it wasn’t for her being so kind, helpful, and actually listening to what I had to say, I honestly wouldn’t come back. She saved the day. They must have been short staffed too because I even saw her helping out in the valet line. With a manager like that, it makes me want to return because service is what matters. We’re already planning another trip back, and next time I definitely want to check out the steakhouse.

We came here for the first time a week ago to celebrate my birthday and have some fun, and we definitely did! The staff was so nice and welcoming, and they even got excited about my birthday. I loved the variety of slots, though I wish they had more of the ones I wanted to play. Still, we found a few we really enjoyed. We also grabbed food at the pizza place inside and it was pretty good. The service was fast, which we appreciated. We haven’t stayed at the hotel yet, but we definitely plan to. Our experience was very positive, and we can’t wait to come back.

2/26/26 8pm. This hotel was redone very nicely!!! Harrahs may need a field trip!!! It is very comforting! Front desk was not very friendly gave the normal bad attitude vibe that all Cesars employees give. We are high rollers so we dont deal much with that. Everyone else was spectacular including the spin the wheel lady and waitresses. Your burgundy shirt people are trashy bad attitude people too. Clean up some of your staff and you will be back at 5 stars in no time!

It is the perfect get away. One stop get away, Food, games, pool, fitness room and quietness! The rooms were nice the ppl where koo too.. my only complaint is all the construction that way… it is tucked off by itself

We had a great time at Horseshoe Lake Charles! The property looks beautiful and feels clean and upbeat as soon as you walk in. Check-in was smooth, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the view made it feel like a real getaway instead of just another hotel stay. The casino floor has a fun energy with plenty to do, and we also grabbed food on-site and really enjoyed it. Most of all, the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, which made the whole trip even better. We'll definitely be back!

My stay was great. The food that was served at our conference was excellent. The food at Brew Brothers Restaurant was excellent and the portion sizes were large, no matter what you ordered. I really enjoyed.

I stay here regularly on work trips. Its in such a convenient spot. The casino is in the center of the building with easy access to the hotel elevators. Even with the very open concept this is the most clean smelling casino I have been in, there is hardly a smoke smell and I never feel like I have to immediately wash my hair when I leave. I feel comfortable staying and eating here, then going to work without the worry of smelling like a casino floor. The rooms are always clean and lovely. The Riverview side is nice. Very quiet and laid back atmosphere. Staff has always been very inviting. The gift shop could be spruced up a bit to carry more selections. Maybe one more food option, something that falls between pizza and fine dining steak. Parking is always easy (I've never used the garage) the only thing I've ever been disappointed in is the 21 and up rule at the pool. Maybe 16 or 18? I sometimes travel with my teens and would love to stay here with them but have something for them to do. I have Ceasars rewards and I will continue to take advantage of staying here well within my budget.
